Present Simple

Ada sebagian dari akademisi menyebut "present simple" dan ada juga yang menyebut "simple present".
Pola kalimatnya adalah:


S + V + ...

Kapan digunakan "present simple"? 
Ketika kita membicarakan sesuatu yang umum.

Contoh:
"The sun rises in the east"
"Teachers teach in schools
"We eat rice everyday"


Ketika membicarakan suatu aktifitas yang berulang
Contoh:
"I always get up early in the morning"
"He once a week spents his vacation in Jakarta"
"The shops close in the afternoon"

Kalimat "present simple" ini menggunakan keterangan tambahan.
seperti:
"always"
"sometimes"
"rarely"
"never"
"often"
"frequently"

Contoh:
"We always go to school by bus"
"They sometimes their times in cafe"
"I rarely come to his house"
"I never ask her money"
"He frequently goes to doctors"
