Modal Verbs "will"

"Will" adalah salah satu bentuk "modal verbs", ada juga yang menyebut sebagai "modal auxiliary verbs".



Pola kalimat

S + will + verb 1 + ...

Contoh Kalimat:

"I will call you after I arrive at home"
"I will ask him to contact you"
"She will offer you a help"
"I will have an avocado juice"


Kapan digunakan?

Kalimat yang menggunakan "modal verbs will", biasanya digunakan untuk hal-hal tertentu, seperti:
Ketika menawarkan sesuatu ke seseorang
Contoh:
"Will you come to my house?"
"I will help you to bring the suitcase"
"I will take you to that place"
"Will you take care of my child?"

Ketika berjanji melakukan sesuatu
Contoh:
"I will give the book to her when I meet her"
"I will go myself to find him"
"They will keep their promise to protect us"

Ketika meminta seseorang melakukan pekerjaan
Contoh:
"Will you keep the voice down?
"Will you pass me the book to Joan when you meet her?
"Will you close the door, please?"
"Will you ask her to come to my party?"
